A Butterfly Necklace to Cherish
A unique butterfly necklace to cherish; that is what I set out looking for a very special niece of mine. Mimi is both physically and mentally challenged. And what she loves more than anything else are butterflies. Last year I bought her butterfly earrings for her birthday, and she was absolutely thrilled. This year I want to get her the matching enamel pendant. It is so rewarding to see her face light up when she opens the box. She may not be able to walk or express herself verbally too well. But her beautiful little face is absolutely radiant when something pleases her.
I am toying with the idea of getting her some ladybug earrings as well. Last fall a little black polka-dotted bug followed me into her room on my shoulder, and she laughed about it for an hour! So perhaps a ladybug necklace and matching post earrings would be just the thing. I am such an indulgent aunt; it gives me pleasure to bring Mimi such joy, and is so easy to do. So a butterfly necklace and a pair of ladybug earrings for sure!
